SEAL COATING FAQS

Please give the seal coat 48 hours after the final coat to cure prior to opening back up to traffic.

When you should seal coat depends on the usual traffic of the surface, sun exposure, and the climate that the blacktop is in. As a general rule you should seal coat every 2 to 3 years, however, you can always check by inspecting the asphalt surface yourself.

Sealcoating must be performed when the temperature is about 50 degrees overnight. This means that the best time to sealcoat is between the months of April and October.
